Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist with ARDMS certification and prior travel contract experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work as an Echo Technologist in a clinical setting performing cardiac ultrasound procedures
• Patients include a variety of cardiac cases as assigned within your discipline
• EPIC charting system is used and prior Epic experience is preferred
• May be required to float within the same discipline across nearby campuses
• Travelers are required to work 2 out of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving)
• Requests for time off are limited to 1 day between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Candidates must maintain a taxable residence more than 50 miles from market
• Expect to float between local campuses as needed within your discipline
• Team-oriented environment with collaboration across departments
• Holiday and time off requests must follow outlined restrictions

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum 2 years of previous Echo Tech experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract in a similar role
• ARDMS certification required
• Active Iowa state license required or proof of application for Iowa or compact licensure if applicable
• License required if applicable
• Reference from a supervisor within the past 2 years is required
• Experience using Epic EMR is strongly preferred
