VHS is looking for a qualified Nurse Practitioner - Anesthesiology.

- Description: LOCUM- Pre OP Anesthesia APP We are going to leave this as just NP or PA and please find candidates that meet the minimum qualifications listed in this job related to Pre OP anesthesia. Providers will not be in the OR, only in clinic this is not first assist. Please remove any providers who are not ok with this set up. No surgery experience is required for this position. Please ensure all bids reflect the below: - Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours a day - OT applies after 8 hours a dayIMPORTANT: Looking for a midlevel provider to join our preoperative clinic to perform consults on surgical patients doing risk assessment, information gathering, speaking to patients and writing a full consult note for day of surgery. Report abnormal labs and tests to medical director, answer questions for RN's in clinic, discuss any patient concerns with medical director. Alert medical director to any logistical issues. At least 50 clinical services/cases or assessments in an acute care hospital within the last 24 months. Please note privileges are needed because this is a hospital outpatient department. M-F full time need (8-430) for about 14 weeks. CA DEA is required as well as an active CA license. Please note that the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours. Application should be submitted within 5 days.o All HBS specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty.o Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.o Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties. Please note the following travel deviations from our contract will apply to the assignment (or current confirmation agreement):• NOT reimbursed:o Mileage from provider's home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from provider's home to departing airport, as well as from airport to home upon return.• WILL be reimbursed:o Airport parking at provider's departing airport if provider drives themselves to the airport.o Insurance policies for rental cars must be pre-approved, prior to booking, otherwise it will not be reimbursed.o Ride share (Lyft/Uber/etc.) and/or taxi from destination airport to hotel/lodging for assignment, as well as from lodging to hospital/clinic, and return trips.
- 1099 Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request)
