Your Role in Our Mission - Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and crafting personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute, recurring, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (pending credentials)
- Instructing patients and families about prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing appropriate medication and therapies according to your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care initiatives
- Working cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care
- Maintaining meticulous and precise documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Credentials - Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications - Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alaska
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
