Your Role in Our Mission
  • Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and crafting personalized care strategies
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, recurring, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (pending credentials)
  • Instructing patients and families about prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
  • Prescribing appropriate medication and therapies according to your practice scope
  • Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care initiatives
  • Working cooperatively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care
  • Maintaining meticulous and precise documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Credentials
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alaska
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
