Front of House Manager – Firefly, Studio City

 

Firefly is a hidden gem in the heart of Studio City. An upscale restaurant known for its warm atmosphere, creative cocktails, and a one of a kind dining experience. We’re looking for a passionate and driven Front of House Manager to join our team and help us continue delivering the hospitality we’re known for.

The Role

As Front of House Manager, you’ll work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to keep service smooth, the energy high, and our guests coming back. This role blends people leadership, operations, and hands-on hospitality, you’ll set the tone on the floor and jump in wherever needed to ensure everything runs at Firefly standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support FOH staff: training, coaching, uniforms, performance feedback, and discipline as needed
  • Be hands-on during service: expedite, run food, bus tables, or pour wine when the pace demands it
  • Engage with guests, resolve issues, and build lasting relationships
  • Ensure food allergen and safety protocols are always followed
  • Oversee shift openings and closings, including cash handling and daily reporting
  • Maintain strong communication with BOH and FOH to deliver seamless service

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of restaurant management experience (high-volume, upscale dining strongly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Current food handler’s certification
