Job Description
One of the world's leading mobile game studios is based in San Marcos hiring a Marketing Artist.
The Marketing Artist creates a broad spectrum of game marketing assets which include but not limited to: animations, game logos, branding, (brand design, brand guides, branded content management etc.) will design banners, promo videos, static assets, print & digital material for special events. The marketing designer will need to be capable of providing creative in-game asset concepting, collaboration and design.
Required Experience: - Ability to design and deliver marketing materials that are visually impressive and inspire action
- Experience with typography, layouts, multiple font treatments and graphic styles
- Motion graphics animation and design implementation
- Game marketing documentation management
- Quick turnaround time, good communication skills, fast problem solving, efficiency and time management with multiple products on the go under tight deadlines
- Experience building the following marketing assets: game logos, branding, (brand design, brand guides, branded content management etc.) static assets, marketing compositions and special event related print & digital material
- Quick turnaround time, good communication skills, fast problem solving, efficiency and time management with multiple products on the go under tight deadlines
- Minimum of 6 years work experience in Design, Marketing, Advertising, Publishing or Animation field.
Desirable experience: - Visual FX implementation for both static and animated assets
- Marketing motion graphics, animations, banners and promo videos
- 3D/AE Plugin knowledge is a plus.
- Marketing experience in the Online Gaming industry
- Basic WordPress knowledge to perform website and content updates.
Software Environment: - Windows OS work environment
- Adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Indesign
- Version control, P4V Perforce desired
- Development collaboration environments, Jira or Microsoft Team Foundation Server desired
- Web/portal management
