Junior Counselor, Blue Camp (4128U), Recreation & Wellbeing - 75401

Berkeley supports professional development for full-time staff, including at least 80 hours (10 days) of paid time per year. This position is with UC Berkeley Youth Recreation and offers experiential leadership opportunities for junior high- and high school-aged youth in our summer camps.
The Junior Counselor is a paid staff position for high school students to learn the beginning requirements of youth supervision, professional conduct, effective communication, and teamwork. The role also helps enhance leadership and job skills for this UC Berkeley program and future careers. Programs bridge campers to leaders, with many staff being former campers.

Under California law, UC Berkeley provides a reasonable estimate of the compensation range. Salary offers are based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
