Advertised Position Title: Instructor, Skilled Trades Electrical Job Description:

Serve as full-time faculty within the Skilled Trades department teaching electrical classes.

Essential Functions:

• Per Article 7.0 of the OFA contract

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Technical/Professional Knowledge of the fundamentals and principles of Electricity and Electrical troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of the National Electric Code.

• Must be able to speak to groups.

• Have the skills needed to demonstrate the functions of an Electrician and electrical repairs.

• Must be able to evaluate student performance.

• Must be able to demonstrate tasks in related field

• Listening Oral Communication

• Oral Presentation

• Written Communication

• Technical Translation

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree or two-year technical certificate.

• Must be Journeyperson Electrician.

• Able to achieve AAS in Technical area at time of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years' experience teaching electrical courses.

• 5 years' experience programming PLC's.

• 5 years' experience in robotics.
