Now Hiring: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Mentor - East End

Pay: $20$21 per hour

Job Summary:

Join a fast-paced manufacturing team as a Mechanical Assembler ! Youll build high-quality components and assemblies using blueprints, tools, and lean manufacturing techniques. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work across departments with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and procedures
• Assemble sub-assemblies using hand and power tools
• Inspect and test assemblies to meet specifications
• Complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejected parts
• Perform electronic assembly and wiring
• Plumb and test pneumatic systems
• Occasionally use TIG welding , grinders, and finishing tools
• Accurately document part info (lot numbers, serial numbers, revision data)
• Support LEAN manufacturing (5S, waste reduction, continuous improvement)
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
• Basic TIG welding skills preferred
• Basic plumbing/testing experience preferred
• Grinding and finishing tool experience
• Prior experience in LEAN manufacturing environments is a plus

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift equipment and operate forklifts (preferred)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Computer literacy (Excel and Oracle required)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve component issues
• Strong attention to quality and detail
